Biography:

Sissel appeared on norwegian TV for the first time at the age of 15.

In 1986 Sissel released her first album, "Sissel", which sold a record 300,000 copies in Norway.

Her second album "Glade Jul" sold a record 500,000 plus copies in Norway.

In 1994 Sissel sang the Winter Olympic Anthem during the opening ceremony in Lillehammer. She also recorded the song "Fire in your Heart" with Placido Domingo.

Another great preformance was the TV concert, "A Christmas in Vienna", with Placido Domingo and Charles Aznavour.

In 1997 Sissel put her beautiful voice on the "Titanic" soundtrack, together with the lesser singer Celine Dion :)

Another fameous project was her duet with Warren G. called Prince Igor, that combined opera with (urk) rap.
